Everyday two-stage RV protection - sediment + 0.5µ carbon block
An affordable, everyday two-stage system for reliable RV water protection. A 1-micron sediment stage keeps sand and silt out of your plumbing, and a 0.5-micron carbon block reduces chlorine, taste, and odor - clean water at the campground or on the road. This is the inside-install version: it ships with standard 3/4″ garden-hose threads plus two SharkBite fittings to convert to 1/2″ PEX, and an inlet shutoff valve. Install it downstream of your water pump as a post-tank filter, mounted in your wet bay or an inside storage area.

Filter compatibility
Every canister takes an industry-standard 10″×2.5″ cartridge, so replacement filters are inexpensive and easy to find - and you can run any standard cartridge, including ones compatible with Clearsource, Pentair, and Culligan housings. No proprietary filter lock-in.

What does this system remove?
A 1-micron sediment stage removes sand, silt, and rust; the 0.5-micron carbon block reduces chlorine, taste, odor, and chemicals. It is not rated for bacteria or viruses - step up to a Virus Hero or ELITE system for 0.2-micron pathogen protection.
What replacement filters does it use?
Two RV-SED1 1-micron sediment cartridges and one A1209 0.5-micron carbon block - all standard 10"x2.5" size, available as the Essential System Filter Refill Kit.
Can I mount it inside my RV?
