1 micron sediment pre-filter - finer protection for your system
Spun-polypropylene sediment cartridges that nominally filter particles 1 micron and larger - finer than a 5 micron filter. Run sediment first so it keeps sand and silt out of your carbon and resin filters. Two per package.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 1 micron and 5 micron?
1 micron filters finer particles, giving cleaner water to your carbon stage; 5 micron flows a little faster and lasts longer in very dirty water. Many RVers run 5µ first, then 1µ.
Will it fit a standard canister?
Yes - it fits any standard 10"x2.5" RV or under-sink housing.
How often should I replace it?
Every 3-6 months depending on your water source.
