The genuine AquaCera CeraMetix (Imperial OBE) cartridge pairs a micro-porous ceramic outer shell with an AquaMetix carbon core. The silver-impregnated ceramic removes suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria, and cysts, while the carbon core reduces chlorine, chloramine, VOCs, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic, and fluoride. Independently tested to NSF/ANSI 42 & 53.

Can I clean it instead of replacing it?
Yes - the ceramic outer shell is designed to be gently cleaned to restore flow, which extends the cartridge life.
Does it remove fluoride and arsenic?
Yes - the AquaMetix carbon core reduces fluoride, arsenic, lead, and mercury among other contaminants.
What system does it fit?
It fits our Under-Sink Ceramic Drinking Water Kit and any standard 10"x2.5" or Doulton-style ceramic housing.
