Spun-polypropylene sediment cartridges that trap sand, silt, and rust down to 5 microns. Run sediment first so it protects your more expensive carbon and resin filters downstream. Two cartridges per package.

Will this fit my Clearsource system?
Yes. Clearsource systems use standard 2.5"x10" cartridges, so this replaces the 1st-stage 5.0 micron sediment filter in a Clearsource Premier or Ultra housing.
Where does the sediment filter go in a multi-stage setup?
Always first - sediment should be the first cartridge the water hits so it protects the carbon and resin filters after it.
How often should I replace it?
Every 3-6 months depending on how dirty your water source is.
